The Death of Life!

The Death of Life!

I don't expect to be punished for what I've not done

Is God and the Devil just having fun

Original sin and hell for the sinners

To get on in this life, it's the losers who are the winners.

Well that's what they say

In their fabled storybooks of blood

If you want to go where the good souls go

You better be one of the very few good

But we are all just sinners

From the beginning so it's said

And if we don't repent

We'll be sinners when we're dead

When you look at the moon, the stars, and the sun

With pure logic, it seems clear that we are nothing at all

Some of up think that we will end up in the heavens

But where is this place they think that they'll go?

No one has the answer because nobody knows

This crazy concept of life after death

Is for the believers who live to forget

What they were put here for is all just a plan, chance

If you take life for granted you don't live for romance

All you are doing is hoping for a happy ever after

But who will truly have the last laughter

Evolution is the key to what we have become

Creation is for the believers who prey on the young

Teaching things they know nothing about

Trusting in faith without any doubts

They say the meek shall inherit the earth

And all of its worldly goods

But you will be destined for the fiery depths of hell

If you do as you would

There are many meanings to life's desires

And the great mystery of it all is not defined

But what is the mystery of life itself

No one knows for sure until you're in death's confines
