Fantasy Girl
Fantasy Girl
Dreams, so expensive,
Can't afford it,
They don't come with locked gates,
But surely can lock you up!
Poor she, was unaware of this,
Was happy with what she had,
But hungry to get what others cherished,
Too innocent she was,
Can get fooled by even a small 'Hi'!
Hundreds of doors of happiness, all open to her,
Poor thing, didn't find the right path,
Eager to wear someone else's shoes,
Hers she found quite prickly,
Doing things to please others,
But was she happy? Question mark!
Ups and downs, Joy and sorrow,
Seen and experienced,
But understanding them,a poor learner!
Determinations and promises,
Soon broken, but ready with a new one,
To start something new with a purpose,
Of not repeating the past,
A fantasy girl in her fantasy world,
Identity, lost in the woods.
