Fat to fit

Once I was a couch potato

My bulky self made me feel low

A hanging belly and double chin

I wished I were pretty and thin

I was mocked by one and all

By names as chubby and ball

That made me lonely and sad

My body in a shape so bad

But then I made a decision stern

No matter what, I will not mourn

To workout hard and to struggle

To pave my way through every hurdle 

Hard word paid as I shed some weight

I was back in shape as I lost all fat

That was my journey from fat to fit

I relished it all though it ached a bit
