Few Words Left Unsaid
Few Words Left Unsaid
“Will you marry me”?
These were the four words in which their future they could see,
But their story was left incomplete.....as destiny wanted something else to be.
The doorbell of the Girl’s home Rang..
The door was opened by her mother with a Bang..
Astonished! A smile she wore in her face,
Seeing her daughter’s childhood friend.. who came.
“AISHA has gone to the bus stand to pick you up”, she said.
“No problem Son, come in. She’ll be back, till then you rest”.
The Boy along with their childhood memories enters the house,
And keeps his things on the couch.
He goes to the flashback seeing all their childhood pictures in the photo frame.
The jokes they cracked and laughed which were so lame,
The fights to which each other they would blame,
And sort things out the time very same.
By which even stronger their bond became.
The boy loved painting since his childhood.
He painted as many pictures as he could.
The girl used to sell those and collect money
With that they went out to fill their tummy.
They used to spend time together the entire day
Impossible it was for them to separate.
But a time came when he had to go away,
So his feelings he could not say
And all that the Girl could do was wait.
Now after 5 years the Boy has arrived.
Waiting for her along with those memories beside
Talking to the Portrait of the girl which he has painted
And practicing how to propose her along with the ring,
So that she can become his future Wife.
The Portrait which he had painted of the girl seemed so real.
It showed his Love so true, so pure, and without any fear.
Suddenly, the phone of the Girl’s mother rang
Which this time gave her a bang.
With a news that her daughter is no more
As she met with an accident 5 minutes before.
The wait of 5 years was changed into ‘FOREVER’ within 5 minutes.
But this time instead of two people only one had to wait,
And the Boy could only express his love to her Portrait.
