Free To Live, Living Free
Free To Live, Living Free
I got another poem, got a riddle for you.
How long can you hold your breath
before your face turns blue?
Can you play a country fiddle while
you're tying your shoe?
Will you pick and hold your head up,
when gravity is down on you?
Can you see the city when it's
surrounded by trees?
Can you eat the tainted meat, and
avoid the disease?
Would you let a dog lay in your bed
that's riddled with fleas.
Let people propagate your head,
Will you bleed for free?
Can I make a suggestion?
We all can feel the compression.
Everyday is a lesson
If you're paying attention.
I almost forgot to mention,
You gotta fight for the win.
Then you may get out more
than what you have put in.
Can you see, finally,
The sun, it finally shines on me.
Rays of opportunity.
Keys to what's been binding me.
I sieze the fire inside of me.
Fire, the key to set me free.
Free, to be what I want to be.
Free To Live. Living Free.
I got another rhyme, got a lyric for you.
Can you play the horn better than little
boy blue?
Would you be scorned, by the old
lady that lived in a shoe?
If the system collapsed, would you
know what to do?
Did the shadows come and find you,
as you were walking through the trees.
Will your future come behind you,
and knock you to your knees.
Will your past always remind you
of the ash that's in the breeze?
Some may never ask from life,
nothing more than a strip tease.
Let me leave an impression.
We're all feeling the tension.
Life will keep you guessin',
like a game show invention.
This is all a test and you gotta
Think to win.
If it's sink or swim you gotta
grab your porpoise by the fin.
Can you see? Victory?
Victory is inside, you see?
Full of possibility.
Please do not take light of me.
I plea it don't burn out and flee.
Flee from negativity.
Flee from this society.
Free to think. Free to breath.
Free To Live, Living Free.
