From My Window Pane

From my window pane,

I see a lonely lane.

But when there's rain,

Only insects remain.

Loneliness is what it can gain,

I understand its pain.

But all the sadness out we should strain,

Then extremely happy we will remain.

From my window pane,

 I see a cheerful lane.

No more it needs the rain,

No more it needs the insects to remain!
