From the Westerner to the Easterner, any color

Faltering economy the situation very serious

With livelihoods gone, living has become precarious.

Bottom of the pyramid will get all the shock

The catharsis of the poem, not meant to mock.

Live fulfilling your need, not the time for greed

Support one another, let not hatred breed

Immigration, national boundaries, the virus couldn’t care

As if to mock humans, stop me, it is a dare.

WHO is who, trying hard for a solution

Not for profits, therein lies salvation.

World leadership, the crying need of the hour

Breakthrough in science, let the remedy overpower.

Dismay not cause of delay, find an answer, sooner the better.

Sit in silence, let not the mind to fretter.
