Grandma's Kitchen
Grandma's Kitchen
The favorite place, Grandma's kitchen
It's the best place in a haven.
I love the aroma the moment I cross it
And there lies the secret to keep us healthy and fit.
It's the favorite place of all kids am sure
The more she makes the more we lure.
I love the smell of hot breads and biscuits in the oven
I quickly pull a chair with her and chat nineteen to the dozen.
We giggle over a cup of hot cocoa and cakes
I love to hog on whatever she bakes.
I think Grandma has a secret ingredient she uses
Food never tastes the same elsewhere, that's what confuses.
You are so happy to make us ham and cheese
Oh Grandma you are so easy to please
I love to sit and talk to you
About anything like why the sky is so blue.
I often tell you I know the secret recipe is your smile
And she joyfully comes out with her macaron pile.
She waits for us to visit her soon
And there she is ready with a delicious spoon.
You know what makes Grandma's food so full of flavour
It's her warmth and love for us forever.
