Greybeard's Reminiscence
Greybeard's Reminiscence
The wind passes by my hair
so do the days
I see carcasses hogged by vultures
and crows cawing
Trees near my house,
Shed leaves a minute Gain four the next
Is this what life is,
I ask myself each day.
The Lady across the street-
Blue dreamy eyes & Dark Blonde Hair
Sweet voice I swear
Sweet as lilies in May
More delicate than feathers
Name it was I unsought
Encountered next day just to sought
Scoured across the street
and in the park
No where she was
Never saw her after
Thirty years later
At an age of 85
I sit on my couch
Reminiscing our times
She was & is my favorite stranger
