Growing Older

Invisible when I was 

Said all I was for a cause 

Trying to find out since then

Didn't understand time flew when

 Yes, I was growing older.

Becoming more fierce, confident & bolder.

Taking the first step beginning to crawl 

Would just run all day long from hall to bedroom And Bedroom to hall.

Next step was beginning to speak

 Everyone thought I was already at my peak

 So, all showed a lot of care

But, I wouldn't stop just there 

Yes, I was growing older.

Becoming more fierce, confident & bolder.

Started to go to the school 

But just there, I couldn't keep cool

 Wanted to achieve a lot in life

So, crying like others was seriously not my type

Looking back as a teenager today 

Feels like I have moved a lot on my way 

Still there's a lot to go

But I would never say no 

Just got to know what my cause was 

Felt the battle of life I have won

But it's still not done
