Hands

Hands

I remember your hands.

Pushing me into the bed

As I repeated the same word over and over

No

I think you didn't happen to hear it

Because you pushed me harder

Almost breaking my arm

As you twisted it back

No

You didn't hear me again

Saliva and tears covered my pillow

The only thing I could think

Of was your hands

On mine

Entangled on my back

Pushing me harder into the bed

Your hands

How soft they felt

No

It hurt

You ripped my insides without

Asking if I was okay

After you were done

The absence of your hands

Made me feel

Numb
