Helpless Humanity
Helpless Humanity
They were a happy family of four
Father, mother and two kids to adore
Spending their days with fun and furore
Perhaps, they didn't want anything more.
But the deadly virus came
As an undesirable guest
It sneaked through the door
Making them suffer at its best.
Father was lucky, he got an ICU bed
Mother was not, she died on her own bed
The kids did not know what to do
With their mother dead
Nobody came to offer a prayer
Helpless humanity, what else to be said?
The father is still counting his last breath
The mother is lying cold
The kids are down with high fever
They have to suffer a little more.
They are crying but
The mother can't wipe their tears
God knows they get to eat anything
Or they are too small to cook!
The only savior is God
The only means is a prayer
Let's pray that God at least
Save those kids, take care of them
As the dying mother had prayed the same.
