Her

As I waited impatiently before the operation room,

All I could think of was her fading smile.

Her place in my heart was so special,

That no one could replace her.

Seeing her, even in the slightest pain made my heart ache.

She was the one who taught me forgiveness,

She was the only one who could put this beast on a leash.

I was always the one who scared everyone around me.

Yet, she managed to make good out of me.

Her smile always caught my heart.

The rushing of doctors in and out brought me back to reality.

I heard someone telling me 'We couldn't save her'.

My vision was blurred, I couldn't breathe.

I left like I lost my life.

She ... was gone, leaving me behind again in this world full of darkness.
