Hurt

I've seen nights full of pain,
though days seem the same,
in search of reality and truth,
I seek out the happiness in every possible way.

I'd love to knock on your doors at 3:00am and we'd go to the park just to swing...

Though I couldn't find any answers,
to all the pain and suffering,
even after 70 years of independence,
only a poet emerged out of the shadows.

He says to keep the sunshine,
least alone save him the rain,
people hurt often but they never cry,
as this country is lost in the depth of darkness,
only waiting for a messiah to save them,
from the misfortunes of life.
