I Admire

Amidst the Smoky, Screen of Red,

Carrying shades of, pretty Blue

Are the Golden, threads of Joy,

With the hue of, Smile so true

Today the heavens, come to Earth

With the petals of, pure desire,

To burn away all, that is gloom,

In Holi's own, sacred Fire

With them also, comes along,

Sweet and Sour, fragrance of Love

To fill this earth's, every corner

And the seas and, hills and Cove

With the blessings, and a wish,

That lets every, flower to bloom

As a new dawn, comes to us,

After burning, of the gloom

Let us welcome, this new dawn,

With the smiles and, not a frown,

Let old hatred be, blown away,

And let Love's seed be, finally sown

With this thought and, deep desire,

Holi's rainbow, I do admire !!!
