I Carried Her Forth
I Carried Her Forth
I was three hours late.
Realized what was my fate
For the people on those red tiles
Are gonna speak a hell lot of lines.
I saw a guy, around twenty
Had a red portmanteau
His parents were bidding him goodbye
When left I.
I had a long journey
But his was far shorter than me.
There was a girl around five
Sitting just beside me
On the blue-covered seat
Questioning her parents,
On every random thing that crossed
Her curious eyesight.
She had no sense of humor
Yet she made a smile pass
Through the lips of all travelers.
That guy had a history of bad decisions
And this was a consequence
Of one more such decision.
Why the hell had he came here?
To experience what is it-
A hundred and forty speed gust of wind?
Or crying noises in the cyclonic brutality?
Nonetheless, he had to return in a couple of days.
To the place where he should have stayed.
The lunch arrived at three
The time when all go for a nap!
We had lunch
But she smirked throughout
Carefree of the life given
Ignorant of the worries
At this tender age
Enjoyed the cool breeze.
The train halted
I had to step out.
I made new friends,
Had new memories to live on.
But I missed her,
And I carried her forth.
