I Caught A Few Stars

I caught a few stars

And put them in a bottle;

Not random stars

But ones that remember us

From our lives past.

 

They told me we belong,

Belong here,

Belong together;

So I caught them

And put them in a bottle.

 

I did it so you'd believe,

Believe in us,

In the stars, in fate;

But you didn't,

So I let them out.

 

And in return,

They blessed me.

I can now forget,

You, us, and everything in between.

Oh, what paradise that will be!
