Your close ones become distant with time 

No matter how heart to heart you talk 

A talk is all I need 

A longing to let the feeling fade 

When the rain comes 

I miss the place I grew up in 

I wish you to be there for me and say everything will be okay 

Yet you're so far 

Your present life is your priority 

And I can't blame that 

I've tried to move on with life 

I'm coping up well 

Yet I miss your presence 

Phone calls have degraded to one call a week 

When I call I wish to talk my heart out 

Yet I couldn't worry you with my burdens 

We're now living far off 

And I'm still yet to pay my own bills
