Into thousand little pieces lost in the world

Despite your promise of staying forever

I remember the empty look in your eyes

Making me realise I had finally lost you

I remember shouting sorry in desperation

Those apologies that you never accepted

I remember wanting to end my life for you

Get rid of everything in me that you hated

I remember the heartache leaving me numb

Just as the pain completely ended my being

I remember finally saying a bitter goodbye

Hoping for a day I would give up on you too

I remember it all as if it was just yesterday

When you took my heart and broke it brutally

I remember losing my everything to you
