I Was Sure My Choice Was Right

It was a difficult day, 

It was a difficult time

For it was a moment

Of making a choice!

I could see two paths, 

Right in front of my eyes 

One was smooth as glass, 

The other rough as a porcupine!

I had to choose one,

To move ahead in life, 

But I was still confused, 

Which one was right? 

I finally decided, 

Chose the second one

It seemed difficult, 

But I didn't give up! 

Many were on the first path, 

A few were on mine

But this didn't let my confidence down

For I was sure my choice was right! 

Today when I look back, 

I cherish the time,

My decision was so correct 

To choose the road less travelled by!
