In A Lazy Winter Afternoon

On a lazy winter afternoon 

I am sitting on my terrace

Listening to a very fine piano tune

Feeling the warmth of the sun on my face

Gazing at the scenic view far away

Blue sky above with a faint grey

Suddenly a thought popped into my heart

'What is this path between life and death?'

Taking a deep breath, I realize

It's about a river called time, that flies

Life is a beautiful art of light and shadow

That flows with time from up to the low

When the sunlight is about to faint

And my lazy afternoon is about to end

My bucket full of thoughts has to change lazy noon passion

Yet am appeased that find answers to my question

Will again meet in another lazy afternoon tomorrow

Will find answers along with the moments I seize

With my bucket full of thoughts coming in a row

Some questions go like this- ' why can't we live in peace?'
