After a worth long struggle

Of a good 200 years,

India finally freed itself from

The British raj's shackles.

The fight for freedom was long-drawn

Many Indians chose to con

75 years, it has been, send we got independence

We enjoyed each second, free of dependence.

25 years later, we will celebrate,

India's 100th independence day, in 2047.

In 2047, India shall be free from poverty,

In 2047, every Indian shall be educated.

No one should remain unemployed

Every household shall be well-fed,

No economical discrimination,

Each Indian must be entitled

To equal consideration.

In 2047, I want a corruption-free India

I want to see India as a developed nation

In 2047, I want no Indian,

To be judged by their religion or cast.

I want 2047 to be a joyous year

I want 2047 to be a new India,

A new India, that the world has never seen,

The new India, that we all have hoped it to be,

The 2047 India, will be the India we all have,

Always dreamt it to be.
