Inventors And Their Inventions
Inventors And Their Inventions
Inventors and their Inventions have for centuries intrigued the human mind,
Let us walk through the history of life to shed light on some of the most innovative minds known to humankind
Archimedes was summoned by the king to determine the purity of the royal crown,
Perplexed he jumped into a bathtub,
And Lo a solution to his problem emerged,
Ecstatic he cried out “Eureka Eureka”.
Archimedes realized that the volume of the water displaced in the bathtub equalled the volume of the object immersed in the tub
Issac Newton wondered why an apple always fell below the ground,
And never in the opposite direction,
That led him to discover the famous Law of Gravitation,
On which Modern Science rests
Aristotle was the greatest scientist mankind had ever known,
He identified formal logic, scientific disciplines and their relationship to the unknown
Pythagoras, a Greek philosopher made developments in mathematics, astronomy and the theory of music,
He discovered the Pythagoras theorem that received widespread acclaim
Galileo, an astronomer, physicist and engineer,
Studied Speed, Velocity, Relativity and Inertia
Science will continue to astound us and deviate,
A thinking mind is what we need to cultivate,
I pay my respects to all of the above Mathematicians, Astronomers and Scientists,
Their novel ideas are indeed a gift to mankind.
