Your name moulds you, it is what your parents called you

It is a symbol of who you are, giving depth and meaning 

It isn't an arbitrary label Stamped and ingrained, some change

Not just a calling card for others to misuse in jest or stain!

Your name is unique to who you are and who you will become

Giving you strength and wonder that will bring you far and yonder 

It is an appellation, not a faux pas for the ignorant to blunder with crass

Always be proud of your name and its true inner meaning's worth

You should never let someone goad you with your perfect name

Rhyming it with slanderous malice just for spite and callousness 

There's a saying that is oh so true and maybe clichéd to some extent 

Stones and sticks may break me but a name will never maim

Your name will grow with you, defining you in unimaginable ways

It might seem like your name is not quite suited to your personality 

But you will see that it does if you embrace it with vigour and verve 

And never be reserved and bashful about your name it is truly you

Defamatory remarks can often hearken the ear to halt for cause

A common name owner will be eclectic at many different things 

A person with a more unusual name might be more or less just that
