It was an accident
It was an accident
Their eyes met that cold July night
He was with her but looked all worn
Made her wander after him that night
Into his mind she claimed her space for the night
He found no rest from her eyes
It pierced his mind he found no sleep
Wandered alone in the night
So deep in thought about her that night
The years rolled on each their way they went
Till one cold December night he found her among the crowd
She ignored his now old man looks for she thought it was one of those sugar daddy type
Until he whispered into her ears into her phone when he got hold of he number
She remembered those sorrowful eyes all those years ago
They had now turned much more older and colder
The fact remained she had no plans to be hurt again by another
Painfully turned down his offer and whispered into his ears on the other side
It was an accident we met that cold July night
Please forgive me but I must let you go
