Journey of Self-love

They laughed at me

 when I started my

journey of self-love. 

That's the thing about these people.

They pity you when someone breaks your heart

but the moment you start choosing yourself, 

they call you selfish.

Love is running 10 steps with your lover holding their hand, 

self-love is walking 10 steps towards your heart

until you feel like home.

One more scar, another star.

One more scar, another art. 

One more stone, another diamond to my crown.

One more chapter, I am still the main character.

No matter how many times you label it as "selfish love"

but you have no idea how much that person might have cried every night,

You have no idea about the

pain they went through, 

you have no idea how lonely a

person can be,

so self-love is not just love but also a need,

so 2022 is self-love too,

 spread it.
