Joy Brought by Rain
Joy Brought by Rain
When it rains,
With crystal droplets falling like chains,
When the clouds turn gray,
When the breeze is whistling along the bay,
My heart, touched with love, melts,
A strong bond with you is felt,
Hearing your pitter-patter flow through my veins,
It melts my heart's flames.
When it rains,
Joyous whispers among trees are heard,
Giggles of glee surround the herd,
The bond between you strengthens by your melody,
Bringing back many but chiefly that one sweet memory,
The velvety voice of my mom,
So unique and tantalizing,
Which I thought was lost forever amid the stars.
When it rains,
Ground’s heat, all is released,
Making the lazy otters slink,
Winds release their delight by a huge blow,
Birds spread their colored wings,
You create an ambience of peace,
Your drops make my face glow,
Moments before the cease of this joy,
Before seconds left to enjoy,
Hoping for the gleeful moment to seize
I wanted the moment to freeze!
