Leading To The Window

With every sunlight that falls into my bedroom,

It wakes me up, strong each day.

It prepares me well to fight my battle, and at dawn, it gives me the reason to live.

It makes me dwell more on myself and leaves me in a dilemma.

It brings me back to my childhood memories, where my grandfather used to make me sit on this window. As years have passed by, there's no more time to stare outside the window, since the phones have replaced our view site.

My dreams gave me wings and flying up above,

Always helping me to reach my goals.

But at times I feel so lost when looking out, and at the snap of the moment, I am back to it all.

I wait for rainbows,

I wait for moon rays,

I wait for every little thing that has been lost and gone in vain.

I wish, those days would be back,

When I could sit up there and dream once again.
