Let The Stars Shine!

Nowhere inside me, does life exist anymore

It's just the sake of tradition, I am pretending to be alive for,

Oh drink pourer, why are you trying to flee

For the liquor in the vessel is yet to be finished entirely

It hasn't rained in a while, everything has dried but I will still bloom

For the moisture of tears on the surface of my heart is yet to dry

Everyone shines and flourishes in their own times

Let these stars shine too,

For the dawn is yet to arrive

In this world of illusion full of cheated people, I talk about truth without any kind of scariness, hesitation or feeling shy

I ain't among the regular devotees but my faith is to die,

Don't test me! my heart is broken already

For its old, painful scars are yet to be healed completely

Oh light! sometimes I think how mean & selfish am I even!

For, how many promises made to my own self are yet to be fulfilled even!
