Life Goes On
Life Goes On
Lashing rains or tremors striking,
Terror attacks and societies crumbling,
Corpses floating or innocent lives slaughtered,
Only for a moment do they attain prime visibility.
For those who suffer or make it,
They only know the hardships and challenges,
People come and go, supporting or backstabbing,
But, then, life takes on its normal pace.
After the dark phase lasting for some days,
The sun reappears as if nothing has happened,
The more this fact is promptly accepted by all,
The more life becomes easy to bear and move ahead.
Beating one’s a trumpet or heart out,
Is like the sun in the monsoons,
Staying for some time and disappearing fast,
Yet, freezing that moment is an extant hack.
Life goes on as usual though a bend for some,
Basking in its present glow is therefore crucial,
Cursing others or bragging about one’s privileges,
Does more harm than good to the jealous man.
