Life tests me daily and tries to knock me in a hundred and one

ways

Filled with hard struggles, it tries to weaken my strength and

break my unbreakable spirit

With it's hardships and plights, it tries best to fill me with sadness

and dismay

And puts all it's efforts to split my heart into two

Like a violent storm, it tries shake my every neuron

And tries to cage my freedom with its strong yet powerless

shackles of pessimism

Challenging me it tries to fill me up with fuss and chaos

And efforts hard to dull my positive shine and send shivers down

my spine

But hardly does it know, I am a boy full of hope

With the power of hope, I face and tackle every struggle

My dark cloudy sky, I brighten it with rays of hope

Life tries to defeat me, but with hope I defend 

And it ends up facing it's own defeat

In the verge of shattering my dreams, it itself shatters down into a 

million pieces

But being stubborn, it rises again to weaken me

To diminish my hope but time and again with the power of hope 

I defeat it once again
