Like Alice; Black Hole

Fallen down a black hole of madness, but not a fun mad like hatters and rabbits - like Alice. 

It’s dark and I care barely see, the rocky road ahead of me. The spiky rocks of death that are trying to win their defeat.

I scratch, I claw, and fight and scream, trying to overcome the darkness that’s overtaking me.

But the devil fights unfair to conquer his victims, fights unfair to win, as I punch, kick and fight my way free; these black hands keep trying to beat me.



I won’t go down without a fight, I’ll die fighting with all my might.

Show me demons or show me nothing at all, I’ll find light, no matter how big or how small. 

Send snakes, rocks, spiders, send them, I dare, because even faced with my fears, I will win; this I swear.

Even in this black hole, there’s a light, after the rain and after the fight.

Sometimes you take the good with the bad, if it’s forever, it’s forever, the happy and the sad.

Learn to forgive but never forget, a lesson is learned through fight and regret. 

Love is love and if love is true, love will conquer all, through and through.
