My Spirit is not Sinking Yet
My Spirit is not Sinking Yet
My Spirit is not sinking yet
When I was a child and people called me dumb,
I recall that day when My spirits went numb
And then
My mother taught me how to roar,
When the lessons of life were harsh to boar
My father taught me how to fight
When the nerves of my torso got so tight
My teacher taught me how to find hope in the twilight,
When my muses were broken down that night
My sister taught me how to find pleasure in the pain,
When hard times hit my crown like the rain
My brother taught me how to make my heart giggle,
When life gets so hard and the mind is fickle
In the end, My life taught me the art of letting go
To unleash my soul and wait for the final show.
