Days after the first, come again an emotional outburst,

Not was it a hobby, though signs of increased thirst,

Devil empty brains, prior to catching rust,

Piece of paper I need, writing better than the worst.

Infinite topics to choose, not one can I decide,

Help out with one, able me to recite.

And struck upon this tiny brain, again that mighty virus,

Nanoscopic in its size, causing effects very serious;

Cases on the rise, infectious spread very obvious,

Assumptous theories more contagious, origin still a curious.

Hiding in the tents under the fear,

Silence is all that we can hear;

Suspicious beings not letting anyone near,

Clothes we can forget, masks we have to wear.

'Targets' are pending, dates all due,

Alas! Work from home we still have to do;

Shops are all shut with that legal glue,

Losses huge we have, with nature to sue;

Went up to the Moon, and Mars too,

Now, not able to cross lanes two;

Men are turning pale, skies shining more blue,

Entered into a 'Lock', for exit no clue!

Sun shining bright with lot of heat,

Warmth in my heart, can't show a bit;

Tainted are the actions of those on the 'seat',

Sanitary tankers sent, moulding pristine nature neat;

Selfishness was rampant in this world of tweet,

Locked when inside, we long to meet!

Thousands are stranded, thousand miles to sail,

Buses won't budge, neither would the rail,

Hopeful feet did they lay, carefree of those bodies frail,

Determination strong never drives you to fail.

Not a thing to sell, in this pricey era of 'sale',

Jack & Jill have to stay home with their little pail,

'Out of fashion' mail caesed, come times of e-mail,

Swift words do travel, emotions tender to fail.

In the race to progress, nature falling prey,

Impure soul not connected, just hands together to pray;

Reaching never ending goals, not bothered of the way,

Kindful was the nature, we went on to betray;

No lunch is ever free, someday we had to pay,

Binded to nature's fate, dark future now in the day.

After few months to loose, come month of May,

Hope only the weapon, be it the young or with the grey,

Change is the rule of nature, on optimistic beds we lay,

Sun again to shine, we making the hay,

Streets would be crowded, farms again to sway,

Easing those tensions, keeping worries at bay,

Bright future around the corner, everyone happy and gay,

'Acche din aayenge' is what they say..
