Lockdown Time.....

Lockdown is a blessing in disguise

This poem is written to express the feelings of people who were desperately waiting for a break to recline....

Lock down is a blessing in disguise.

When news of the lockdown has arrived , 

I thought for a while.

Then I kept all I did aside,

And put my head on the pillow and grinned 

This lockdown had made me lazy

I should not deny,

When 5 was waking up  time ,               now 10 looks early some time.

When there was no time for one bite to embrace

Had lots of spare time to devour.

Even my stomach is not ready to comprehend to stay inside ,                      it’s lockdown time.

I sometimes get petrified, 

whether people will recognise me!

I started looking like a cleaning maid in my house.

Lockdown is extended and we can sleep for some more time.

As we always grumble,

When we never use to get time to recline.

Where daily we recite ,

I am tired of working all the time.

Did we remember !

When we said this last time?

Time is back to recall all we had assimilated.

God never taught us to store. 

He fed the birds ,he will feed you too.

Nature has taught us all aspects of life.

When all workshops failed on mankind.

Lockdown is extended , think for a while.

Just leave everything and do whatever you like.
