Lost
Lost
As I walk my way along
Slowly humming a dear song
I see nothing but blinding darkness
Patched pathways and eerie wilderness.
How lovely were the bygone days
Full of life in one and many ways
There was trust and magical hope
Vibrant and colourful like the kaleidoscope.
Just for a moment, my focus blew
Where have I landed I have no clue
Easy was walking holding your finger
I feel like a stone thrown by a slinger.
Is this a kind of a test or a trial
Or a delicate way of denial
Should I walk or wait for your arrival
For I know not means for survival.
Eyes are burdened with tears
And the heart is tightened with fears
The mind is filled with fleeting dreams
Thoughts floating away in teems.
I walk slowly a step at a time
Not bothering if it’s grime or shine
For I know it within deep
Neither are you resting nor asleep
With immense tranquillity, you stand waiting
Just for me to reach you with love and longing!!
