Lost

Feels like I'm running out of time.

Dreams to dream, and words to rhyme.

I just keep looking.

Looking for the sparks there once was within me

Looking for a way to figure out who I'm meant to be.

My faith's gone, so is my pride

And I just gotta find a way to get back in stride.

Regrets come flooding all at once

The hours I spent laughing and dancing,

Under the brilliance of a thousand splendid suns,

The hope that I had to reach the stars,

Is now replaced with fears and doubts that left me with scars.

The hour has come to soar

Soar above the ashes towards the starry skies

What if the trials were just a blessing in disguise?

Perhaps, 

the Universe was just waiting for me to rise.
