Thoughts creep and hide in shadows

Words are spoken find meanings anew

Wishes made are yet to come true

At sun's rest when clouds reign

Times old and bonds strong

Made of gold, not of steel

Will stand tests, cold

Their aims, a mystery unknown

Where it leads or whether it ends

Hard to resolve by wit alone

To think it through with heart's terms

Takes an eternity and more

Bane of men, is to act slow

They await a sign to glow
