Dear beloved,

The distant person from the world you are

Unaware of my love that gets stronger!

I did not know one meeting was enough,

Not seeing you ever again will be tough!!

The moments behold you in a definite way,

You are close to the heart yet farther away.

The hope of being loved is what I live for,

Craving your presence standing at death's door!

The world around in turmoil doesn't scare me much

I just want to live in that wee corner of your heart!

I live with a hope to find your love in this life,

The wish that you mend my broken soul is all I strife!

Today, standing at the doorway to death, I crave for your love,
