Make Friends… not a Crowd

More than hundreds of friends on Facebook… but how many are real? 

How many are people we know in reality… not just came across for a moment… 

How many do we know personally, and how many know us personally… ever wondered? 

They are only a crowd of acquaintances, not friends… understand this, they are all virtual…

Only those you shared laughs, cries, silly moments, absurd adventures with…

pouring your heart or having seen your imperfect side still have not been judgemental… are for real. Those who do not need Facebook reminders to remember your birthday… are the real friends. 

If you are lonely in real life, and you feel surrounding yourself with a virtual crowd will make you feel better, then you are wrong, dear friend. Because in reality when you turn around, you will still be alone… do not live a life to please social media and that virtual crowd, live a life making unforgettable moments… to please yourself.

Know the people who really care or want to be with you… from those who just keep you to add one more number on their friends’ list… We ignore those who genuinely want to connect with us… our real friends who connect on social media, due to the physical distance… running after virtual friends, we could end up losing our real friends… 

So, dear friend, I am real and do not wish to be a part of the crowd… 

I am your friend, reach out to me, hold me, find ways to connect with me, make the effort …and I promise, I will be there, sooner or later…But I refuse to drown in the crowd… to me you are special, each friend is… because I unlike you, have not gathered a crowd!
