Marriage

What are you saying?

Are you saying something to me?

I think I'm not making sense

And neither are you to me.

We are strangers,

That dwell with each other.

Communicating in screams;

When we are silent though,

It becomes deafening.

We are two bodies,

And one soul,

So the priest said.

And once we started living together,

It all became dead.

May be this is what,

Marriage is all about.

Or so it seems,

Bondage of spirit.

And not the freedom of soul,

Agreeing to disagree,

Is what its been.
