The one who pretends to be OK

But deep inside

She is broken anyways

She has seen a lot in life

Still has little hope left inside

She wanted to share her feelings, but afraid to do so

Cause people sympathize just to show

They just pretend that they care

But in their mind, they don't care

Then decide to leave her anyway

Without giving a reason why?

She wants to open up

But afraid cause she's shy

Thinking that no one would like her

Cause she's not like others

She is the salt in the sea

That's not visible until someone sees

She is the darkness in the cave

Where people burn fire to get it away

Whenever someone says are you OK?

She says no, she is just TIRED

Torn, insecure, ruined, emotional and depressed

Still roams with a smile on her face

All these emotions

Made her cry at night

Still, talk with people

With a fake smile

She's got a bunch of friends

Who gave their best to bring a smile

Helps in getting a little hope in life

Which she has lost far behind

She tries to be like others

In the end, she remains to be herself

Still, people love her

She doesn't know why?

She's not perfect but tries to give her best

And always apologizes for everything she had been

Says SORRY every time

But only a few understand
