Memories Of Memories

Looking back, I see images of you fly by. 

We used to be so lovey-dovey as we planned our future together,

mapping out the things we’d do, taste, experience, and feel in each other’s arms. 

But suddenly you ghosted like I never was there. 

Like the time we had was nonexistent. 

I didn’t get the disclosure I needed, but I’m glad we made the memories we did. 

They say it’s better to have something good and lose it, than not have it at all. 

Looking back, I watch the memories of our memories go by. 

Admiring the impact you had in my life and those I hope I had in yours.
