Memories

When darkness paves the way to the moonlight,

gazing at the shimmering stars.

The core of my heartaches, 

As past, fills my thoughts.

It's effortless to recollect precious moments with people;

But strenuous to forget those people.

When people leave, emotions change;

what you thought it to be, was not what it was.

Feelings are visitors they come and go, but life moves without waiting for the gone.

Then you walk past through it all but still somewhere;

Around the last corner of your heart, it stays and it aches.
