Not so long ago, we were on the phone, calling each other at every spare minute we had

I was so smitten by you!

Our infatuation grew larger by every minute we were on call with each other.

We started from common interests, career and worked our way up to each others’ thought processes.

We grew closer and closer.

And once during one such conversation between us you caught me

You caught me red-handed!

You observed me being my authentic self.

So I guess it was inevitable wasn’t it?

For us to break up.

Cause once you truly know someone you either break up or fall in love.

And for us, the ‘modern people’ the obvious ending was to preserve our pride and move on.
