Moon And Me
Moon And Me
I gaze through my window,
Admiring you,
Holding yourself so beautifully and calmly
Amongst the fiery little stars,
Giving me a hug of warmth.
Oh lord! How phenomenal you look,
With those sutble craters
That hide beneath the enigmatic lunar chastity,
Beholding the scars of revolution
And preserving the footprints of great men.
You entice me with a mesh of thoughts,
Weaving my mind with metaphors and similies
And I find myself skimming vehemently
Through the blank pages of my diary,
Choosing the best canvas
To write words,
Like the wolves howling at you on your best day.
When my choaked throat freezes my soul,
You grant me the warmth,
Making me believe
That there's always a guiding light in pitch darkness,
That will guide me till the end of the tunnel.
The sun silently waits to rise,
And spread its rays,
But there's something magical about you,
That'll forever keep me as a moonbaby.
