Moon child 🌙🪄

Looking up at the night sky I thought,

Couldn't you see a rabbit of some sort?

The rabbit that lives on the moon,

Who eats with a silver spoon?

Jade is his name,

And he plays no game,

He feeds on delicious rice cakes,

And the leftovers....away he takes.

He stays with thousands of stars,

But people say it's not a rabbit ...the moon has scars?

But I don't believe them,

For me, he is a beautiful gem 

He is miles from here, you say,

But seems to be only 7 minutes away,

I consider myself to be a Selenophile,

And love him the same till he makes me smile.
