Mother Earth

She is nature, she is mother Earth.

She shaped our life, she gave us birth. 

She is versatile, she is a luminary.

Her beauty is eternal, she is exemplary.

She brings solace with the prettiest flower bloom,

From a tired heart, which can eliminate the gloom.

Be it the tallest mountain or the deepest oceanarium,

She gave us all without any honorarium.

Our siblings are creepy crawlies and sedentary topiaries.

Too add on there are ugly slugs and beautiful fairies.

In the forests, we find the sweet birds chirp. 

We all have descended from the same stirp.

Sadly, we began by cutting a tree and hunting a raccoon.

We continued by killing be it a lion or a baboon.

Because of her dying children, mother Earth is in sorrow.

So, let's stop this for today and for 'very morrow...

We must learn, to respect and cherish, 

If we don't, our mother will perish.
