Motherhood
Motherhood
My hands grazing all over you,
Sensing an illusion of your presence,
Toggling between reality and imagination,
I could still feel your tender skin,
Ungrown nails of your tiny hands,
Those stumping legs inside me,
If that is called pain,
I could sustain it ever.
Feel my touch on you
Don't fear the dark,
Open your ears and listen ,Listen!!!
My voice is going to be the light for you to play
Hear the warrior stories I say you
They are real,
Perceive them as surreal,
Coz your mom here is the survivor
Who fought all the dragons
Bloodshed all over, still.
Waiting to show unconditional love
only to you,
She is the calm tide of waves for you to swim on,
She knows you are the sun to her as she is the bed of sea for you to sleep upon,
When all around turns evil to her,
You hit her hard within,
Saying you are all the way ahead
To accompany her forever
Amidst all the deterrents.
