Motherly Love

She gave me a birth but a mother in her is born,

She saw me in pain and even her eyes welled up,

She gave me my first feed and her hunger has starved off,

She took me to the playground and stood by me throughout my ride,

She sent me to school and waited till it gets over outside the school gate,

She taught me cooking and was nervous when I served my first dish,

She taught me to love but cried her heart out when I went with my husband to his abode,

She made me realize the value of honesty but always lied to me whenever in pain.

She taught me everything even how to live happily without her presence around me,

As for her true love is to make children strong and independent.
